Workshop overview

Come join a small group of like-minded students and learn to play your favorite music in Los Angeles, California.  As a group we’ll decide which songs to explore and we will break them down note by note. I’ve taken several intensive workshops with David and each has left me wanting to do it again. His teaching style is gentle and precise. In a group setting he is skilled at tailoring his attention in a way that meets participants’ individual challenges. Just as important, learning with David comes with a lot of fun, laughter, and encouragement. And on top of being a great teacher, David is a brilliant musician.

David, a sincere note of thanks for the workshop this weekend. Your hospitality and interaction with all of us was just outstanding. The time away from the guitars was a blast as well.Your teaching style is the best I’ve ever encountered. You are so passionate about the music that it is infectious, yet you never failed to be patient and go back to cover more detail when we asked you to. I don’t know where my fingerpicking journey will get to but I know that with your help I can definitely make big strides if I stay after it. I absolutely want to do this again.
